The Secretariat Sports Meet 2026, organized by the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat Association, was inaugurated at LB Stadium, Hyderabad, for employees and officers of the Telangana Secretariat, Legislative Assembly, and Lok Bhavan. The event commenced at 11:30 AM and aims to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and well-being among government employees through a series of competitive and recreational sports activities.

The inauguration was led by Sports Authority of Telangana Vice Chairperson and Managing Director Sony Baladevi, IFS, who officially declared the meet open and emphasized the role of sports in reducing workplace stress and fostering camaraderie. The multi-day sports meet features both indoor and outdoor events including cricket, volleyball, throwball, badminton, chess, carroms, table tennis, and athletics such as 100-meter races and relay events, with enthusiastic participation from employees across departments.
