Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSR Congress Party President Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy met former minister Jogi Ramesh, his brother Jogi Ramu, and their family members at his Tadepalli residence on January 27, 2026. The meeting took place after Jogi Ramesh and his brother were recently released from jail following 83 days of incarceration in connection with an alleged illicit liquor case.

During the interaction, the Jogi brothers explained the difficulties faced by them and their family due to what they described as politically motivated cases filed by the TDP government. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy assured party leaders and cadre that there is no need to fear false cases and encouraged them to face such challenges with confidence. He also stated that the party’s legal cell would extend all necessary legal support and personally enquired about the well-being of the Jogi family members, offering reassurance and solidarity.
